About The Position
The General Maintenance I role is a crucial position within the Maintenance department at Rivier University Facilities. This role involves performing all necessary maintenance projects on site, maintaining records, and managing inventory to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
- Some driving required using your personal vehicle between the 3 sites
- HVAC troubleshooting, electrical, plumbing & general maintenance
Nice To Haves
- HVAC Certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Completes preventative maintenance as scheduled and keeps records
- Responds to any emergency repair/maintenance situation as required
- Maintains critical inventory needed to keep operations running; maintains and accounts for tools used
- Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers
