General Maintenance Engineer
About The Position
A General Maintenance will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills. Requirements
- Minimum two years of general building/facilities maintenance experience
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Intermediate knowledge of bathroom plumbing fixtures, door hardware, and HVAC systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong teamwork and adaptability in a diverse work environment
- Excellent verbal communication and customer engagement skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively
- Proficiency with electronic devices and computers
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel or service industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
