About The Position

General Maintenance Engineer Evening Shifts part-time at the Grand Hyatt Denver will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, public and back-of-house spaces. This includes responding to guest room calls in a timely manner and providing outstanding service for our guests. This role will also include mechanical repairs as needed in kitchens, mechanical spaces and interior/exterior building repairs. This role requires a candidate that communicates well and self-motivates in lower call volume periods. Hours for this position are from 3:00pm-11:30pm. Must have open availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. The schedule is subject to change depending on department and business needs. Requirements

Technical Experience in a related field or trade (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC/Refrigeration, Paint & Wallcovering)
Excellent customer service experience
Good communication skills (Guests, Clients & Hotel Staff)
Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures
Ability to work independently and as a team

Nice To Haves

Two to three years of previous hotel experience preferred
