Overview The General Maintenance/Changeover worker will assist in coordination and execution of event setup/break down activities, landscaping, maintenance, and operations for the facility, ball fields, and grounds. This role will pay an hourly wage of $11.00 to $14.00. Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand, walk, and provide physical exertion for an entire shift
- Ability to lift and move 50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather elements
- Self-motivated and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work a varied schedule of days, nights, weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in building maintenance/landscaping preferred
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides event set up and break down services, general maintenance, and landscaping activities involved in the operations of all venue and exhibition & convention and exterior spaces
- Provide leadership and knowledge for temporary workers when applicable
- Deliver, execute, and follow up on assignments provided by supervisors/managers in a timely manner
- Ensure staff is working safely and are aware of proper safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and safe work space
- Responsibilities will include event set-up/break downs, event coverage, landscaping and cleaning
