About The Position

The General Maintenance Attendant is responsible for performing grounds maintenance and landscaping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment. This role involves operating various power and hand tools, adhering to safety regulations, and collaborating with team members to maintain high standards of service and quality.

Requirements

• Some experience in ground maintenance or landscaping preferred.
• Ability to operate power equipment and hand tools effectively.
• Must pass an equipment skills test.
• Some education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment such as weed trimmers, hedgers, blowers, and pull saws.
• Use hand tools like backpack sprayers for maintenance tasks.
• Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of assigned tools and equipment.
• Provide preventive maintenance on tools and equipment as directed by the supervisor.
• Perform litter pick-up, trash and debris removal, and disposal of refuse.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations as prescribed by company policy.
• Arrive on time at the designated location for daily work and communicate any delays.
• Work harmoniously with fellow employees to foster a productive work environment.
