Skilled Labor Starting Rates $24.92 + Sign on bonus Production Starting Rates $21.20 Increase every 3 months with top out in 12 Benefits Day 1 ~ 9% 401k Contribution ~ Technical Incentive ~ Paid Holidays ~ Paid Vacation 1st sift 7:00am – 3:30pm 2nd shift 3:30pm-10:30pm -work 35 hr > get paid for 40 hr PLUS 5% shift premium. 3rd shift 10:30pm-7:00am - 10% shift premium Job Description Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.

Requirements

  • Requires ability to read, write, and understand shop math
  • Must read drawings and prints, scales and other measuring instruments and do own setups
  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works under immediate supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up and operates trim presses, brakes, and a variety of other metal forming machineries
  • Maintains continuous evaluation of outputs, to ensure quality products
  • Works from detailed instructions and prints
  • Exercises good housekeeping in work area
  • Observes good safety practices in performance of job
  • Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
