About The Position

The Fabrication Entry Level employee performs duties under the general direction of the Shift Facilitator with directions from the Team Captain. No prior experience is required. Will train the right individuals. What You Will Be Responsible For: Available to run General, Saws and CNC machines. Keep accurate records. Record all information on required paperwork. Post material pulled in computer. Pack and ship material for outside processing Follow up on material for outside processing. Pack and ship finished material. Assist other personnel and perform other duties as required per supervisor. Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems. Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation. Able to participate in a collaborative environment. Comply with safety policies and procedures. Accepts feedback from the Team Captain to ensure the bundles meet safety standards. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Must also pass a skills-based test.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively; self-motivated; self-starter.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented.
  • Must pass a company background check and drug screen.
