About The Position
The Personalization Machine Operator ensures specialized information is printed on each card in the correct location and in the correct sequence.? Reports To: Personalization Supervisor Job Duties: The Personalization?Machine Operator may operate a variety of machines in the personalization production process.? Responsibilities are primarily general machine operation, basic troubleshooting, and daily maintenance.??This position will clean and prepare work area and machine for next workday or shift at the end of shift. Prepare Machine for start of shift, which include necessary materials and paperwork Perform duties necessary to operate machine and perform required tasks according to machine or position procedures Complete simple, routine maintenance on machine to keep machine operational. Troubleshoot machinery for basic malfunctions Complete all necessary paperwork required for machine operated on for the position Clean machines at end of shift to prepare for next workday or next shift Clean and stock work area in preparation for next workday or shift Safely perform physical demands as indicated below Work overtime and weekends as assigned by supervisor Perform these and other duties as assigned by supervisor or other appropriate management personnel
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to multitask
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer and mechanical abilities preferred
Nice To Haves
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- PLI Physical Requirements and Work Environment Certification
