Requirements

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active admission to practice law in Florida
Minimum of 5 years of experience in general liability and insurance defense litigation
Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including courtroom advocacy
Proven ability to manage multiple cases independently in a remote work environment
Experience with settlement negotiations, risk management, and liability analysis

Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of general liability and insurance defense matters from initial filing through settlement or trial
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, depositions, and settlement negotiations
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses, and prepare cases for trial
Analyze liability, exposure, and risk to provide clear legal guidance and strategic recommendations to clients
Collaborate closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management
Maintain consistent communication with clients while delivering high-quality legal advocacy and service
