About The Position
Successful Midwestern law firm is seeking an Attorney to handle defending general liability and workers’ compensation claims in our St. Louis, Missouri office. Must have an Illinois Bar license.
Requirements
- J.D. and license in Illinois required.
- Experience defending workers’ compensation and general liability claims.
Nice To Haves
- Both Illinois and Missouri licenses preferred.
Responsibilities
- litigating workers’ compensation cases through all phases on behalf of employers and insurers
- management of individual caseload
- drafting pleadings and conducting legal research as needed
- negotiations for settlement
- attending hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations and other proceedings
