General laborers

Sabin Metal Corporation is seeking General Laborers to join our team in a secondary metal processing manufacturing environment located in Scottsville, New York. This position is essential to our operations and involves a variety of physical tasks that contribute to the processing of metals. Candidates should be prepared to work in a dynamic environment where they will be required to perform strenuous physical labor, including loading and unloading materials to furnaces, shoveling materials, screening materials, and operating forklifts. While no prior experience is necessary, we are committed to providing comprehensive training to ensure that all employees are equipped with the skills needed to succeed in their roles. The ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED, although this is preferred rather than mandatory. We are looking for individuals who are able to work all shifts and are physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Basic math, reading, and writing skills are essential for this role, as they will be necessary for following instructions and completing tasks effectively. Candidates must also be able to work independently and demonstrate a strong work ethic. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, with the possibility of overtime as needed. All candidates must be at least 18 years old and must be able to pass a drug screening, background check, motor vehicle report, and pre-employment physical.
