About The Position
All-State Fence Company is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a full-time fence installation apprentice. This position is designed for those who are eager to learn and work under the guidance of experienced crew leaders. The role involves significant physical labor, including heavy lifting, as the successful applicant will be required to lift between 80 and 100 lbs regularly. This is a permanent position, and we build fences year-round, meaning that this job is not seasonal. The typical work schedule is approximately 45 hours per week, from Monday through Friday, and the work environment can vary with the seasons, requiring the ability to work in both heat and cold conditions. The starting wage for this position is competitive and depends on the applicant's experience. We value our team members and offer raises twice a year based on performance and progress. The duties of the position include tearing down and stacking old fences, using a concrete mixer to prepare concrete for setting fence posts, pushing wheelbarrows full of concrete, operating power augers to drill post holes, and utilizing nail guns, drills, and skill saws to construct fences after the posts have been set. We are looking for individuals who are honest, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
