About The Position

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 17 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill. This General Laborer position is responsible for processing the fiber blankets by folding and connecting as part of our manufacturing process. Great stable work and full benefits at our ETS Schaefer plant located in Macedonia, OH. Scheduled work hours are 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday. Must pass drug screen and background check.

Requirements

High School Diploma or relevant work related experience.
Reliability of attendance, ability to work extended overtime as needed
Some math required in stacking of material, counting, and the use of tape measure
Show safe work practice around the facility
Must be able to wear respirator periodically

Responsibilities

The General Laborer will stage, lift and stack fiber materials to meet customer specs.
Operate forklifts, cranes, welders and power tools as needed.
The General Laborer will work from elevated platforms at times (scaffolding and scissor lifts).
Actively participate in our company-wide safety and housekeeping programs.
