About The Position
Transportation Moving company is seeking a hard working individual for a Part-Time Laborer position. This role requires a self-starter who can complete time sensitive job tasks with minimal supervision. This mover-helper position involves tasks such as packing, loading, delivering, and unpacking household and office furniture. The individual may work with various equipment including hand trucks, moving dollies, walk-boards (ramps), pallet jacks, lift-gates, and forklifts. Duties may evolve with the advancement of skills.

Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor moving furniture and heavy objects
- Be able to lift 50 pounds safely and properly
- Load and unload trucks and moving vans in a variety of weather conditions
- Pack and unpack boxes including fragile items such as china and crystal
- Properly blanket wrap furniture for safe transport
- Ensure proper safety procedures and bring problems to attention of the lead on the job
- Be able to follow directions
