General Laborer
About The Position
Safely and efficiently perform various housekeeping and manual labor tasks throughout entire plant As directed by supervisor, fills in when needed in all areas of plant operation Safely operates mobile equipment when necessary Participates in any training that may be required to improve job performance or operating efficiency Write work orders for necessary maintenance and safety concerns Communicate to supervisor problems or areas of concern and coordinate work efforts with co-workers Assist in performance of minor maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Must possess basic ability to read and write
- Should be capable of operation of mobile equipment
- Should have experience working around moving machinery
- Must be able to walk over rough terrain, stoop, reach, climb, kneel, and carry up to 60 pounds
- Position includes work, both indoors and outdoors, involving temperature extremes, dust, noise and humidity
- Regular attendance is required.
- Overtime may be required as determined by management
