About The Position

GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiring for General Laborers for a maraschino cherry production facility. For these positions applicants cannot be sensitive to strong smell/odor as the production process requires the use of Brine. Ideal candidates are flexible with schedule changes as the Harvest season will require overtime & weekend work. Requirements

1+ year of food production experience is required.
Schedule availability of early day shift hours throughout the year and weekends/overtime during "Harvest Season" generally late spring - summer.
Ability to work in the elements - there are covered areas but it is open and prone to weather conditions
Ability to work in a fast paced, repetitive production environment with lifting/pushing/pulling 30-50lbs
Ability to wear all Required PPE including a respirator, a medical questionnaire evaluation and a fit test is required.
Ability to stand for 8-12 hour shifts, bend, twist and crouch down as needed throughout the shift.
