General Laborer- HIRING EVENT
About The Position
PTMW, Inc, is hosting a hiring event on the evening of Thursday, January 8th 4pm-6pm and Friday, January 9th 8am-3pm. PTMW- 5040 NW US HIGHWAY 24 TOPEKA, KS 66618: PTMW Hiring Event- New Year, New Career General Laborer Departments and descriptions: Assembly department- Assemble pre-fabricated metal building components, including wall panels, floors and roofing panels. Wood and Insulation department- Apply precut Styrofoam insulation materials to walls, ceilings, and floors of metal enclosures. Doors department- Assemble door kits and put on enclosures Finish department- Build per finish assembly drawings and customer specification sheet Powdercoat department- Apply powder coating to metal parts using manual or automated methods These departments work 10-hour shifts, four days a week, with a possible 5th day being overtime dependent on production needs. Most departments offer a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. Please indicate on the sign up what shift(s) you are willing to work-below are the shifts for our general laborer departments. 1st shift- 5:30am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday 2nd shift-3:00pm-1:00am Monday-Thursday 3rd shift- 8:00pm-6:00am Sunday night-Thursday morning
Requirements
- Reading blueprints and a tape measure
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug and alcohol screenings, and a physical capacity profile test.

- Background in construction or manufacturing a plus
