About The Position
The General Laborer will perform general repairs to the facilities.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to read building plans and repair manuals.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- HS diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in related field preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Certified HVAC Technician a plus.
Responsibilities
- Performs general plumbing, carpentry, masonry, roofing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility’s equipment and systems.
- Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
- Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.
- Notifies manager when repairs require specialized training.
- Performs general cleaning tasks in the facility.
- Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
