About The Position

ILLINI Environmental is in Caseyville, Illinois, and services the entire Midwest region. ILLINI is an EPA Permitted Non-Hazardous Disposal Facility that actively maintains environmental risk management to mitigate exposure to potential liability. We reduce environmental risk and produce new value stream for any product or process by redefining what it means to work with managed material. ILLINI is currently seeking highly motivated laborer looking to work for a progressive, fast-growing company. ILLINI has invested in new equipment and technology to ensure our Team members have the best tools available to serve our customers.

Requirements

• Ability to operate light and heavy equipment
• Hazwoper 40 hour certified. (will provide training).
• Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies.
• Willingness to shave and wear respirator as needed.
• Ability to work well in a team environment critical.
• Six (6) months of previous labor experience

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Performs tasks associated with processing Non-Hazardous Waste.
• Operates light and heavy equipment including: skid steers, mini excavators, forklifts and pressure washers.
• Wear a respirator as needed.
