About The Position

THIS ROLE IS A TEMPORARY POSITION focused on cleaning up the yard with potential to be considered for other roles at the end of this temporary assignment. Two positions are available.

The General Laborer plays a crucial role in supporting dismantling and production process in the yard. This position is essential for ensuring that work sites are safe, organized, and efficient, contributing to the overall success of the project. The role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions accurately to meet deadlines. Ultimately, the General Laborer helps to create a productive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather (outside environment).
• Basic understanding of safety practices in a dismantling, recycling environment.
• physical stamina and strength, which are essential for performing demanding tasks such as lifting and moving materials.
• Attention to detail is crucial for following safety protocols and ensuring that the work environment remains organized and hazard-free.
• Communication skills are also important, as the role involves working closely with a team and following instructions from supervisors.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role or construction environment.
• Certification in forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring that all materials and tools are organized and accessible.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials to support dismantlers and production tasks.
• Safe use of forklift in moving parts and/or vehicles in the yard or warehouse.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
