General Laborer's needed for Metal Manufacturer
About The Position
Westaff is hiring General Laborers for Metalwork manufacturer in Winsted, CT! Pay: $17.00/hour + 20% shift differential ($20.40/hour on 2nd shift) Schedule: Training: 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Permanent Role: 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) starting April 1 We are hiring hardworking, reliable production associates to support our foundry operations. This role begins with training on first shift and requires a firm commitment to second shift starting April 1 . You’ll be supporting molding, floor production, and eventually furnace operations (training provided). This is a physically demanding, hands-on job in a fast-paced foundry environment. If you’re dependable, take direction well, and want to work with a close-knit team, this could be a great opportunity for you!
Requirements
- MUST speak Spanish (the entire team communicates in Spanish)
- MUST agree to work 2nd shift starting April 1
- Ability to follow directions closely and stay alert
- Comfortable working in a high-risk industrial environment
- Able to handle heavy, physical work and be on your feet all day
- Basic warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful
