About The Position

Anchor Fabrication has an immediate opening for a highly motivated General Laborer for our Coatings Department. Position Summary: The General Labor is an entry level role that can vary with each assigned task. They will use various tools and techniques to support their assigned department. They are highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. This role is vital to ensuring our customers’ needs are consistently met, promoting our company’s continued strong national growth.

Requirements

Must be able to read and understand measuring devices, i.e. a tape measure
Must be able to operate a grinder.
Experience with high power tools (i.e. impacts, wrenches, etc.)
Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance.
Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping.
Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing industry preferred.
May be considered for training and growth into other positions within business, if performance, aptitude, willingness, are demonstrated within the 90 days.

Responsibilities

Work under the direction of the department lead or supervisor to assist with daily operations.
Follow instructions during the operation process.
Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment.
May perform other duties as assigned.
