General Laborer - 2nd Shift

About The Position

As a member of the production team, ensure that secondary sheet metal operations are finished as needed per the customer requirements.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Manufacturing Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet metal machinery as assigned including but not limited to: Deburr, Spot weld, PEM, press brake, shear, etc.
• Use appropriate measuring tools to complete tasks (calipers, height gage and thread gages) and ensure tools used are properly calibrated
• Remove laser cut product from sheet metal
• Utilize sanding equipment to sand/grind metal when necessary and instructed
• Inspect and produce parts per print
• Enter the completed job traveler operation in the computer and sign off on the traveler
• Inform the Secondary Operations Lead when the assigned operation is complete.
• Complete other tasks as assigned per the nature of the job
• Move completed product to appropriate location by utilizing pallet jack or forklift
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
