General Laborer
About The Position
Summary: Identifies, sorts, and separates parts by hand, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities & Duties: De burr parts by hand or machine, according to company specifications and procedures. Package parts according to shipping instructions. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, etc. Check work area for hazards. Clean up dirt and debris in work area both during and after the scheduled shift. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, one to three years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of both.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
