About The Position

The General Laborer performs a wide variety of general manual labor tasks including tinting batches, loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. This role will operate a variety of tools to complete assignments according to internal and external policies and regulations. The General Laborer will assist Operations and the Lab with manual labor tasks as needed in support of the facilities goal to service customers in the area.

Requirements

Ability to see color variation
Good communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and good organizational skills
Ability to operate a forklift
Lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs regularly
Stand for extended periods of time
Wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies and procedures
Strong math skills
Intermediate computer skills, proficiency with MS Office
High school diploma/GED
0-2 years of experience in manufacturing or as a general laborer

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks using a forklift or pallet jack
Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment
Utilize a variety of machines for shipping purposes
Receive incoming shipments, inspect and store merchandise/materials, and assist with restocking
Assist with making and tinting batches to color specification
Clean and sanitize processing equipment, tanks, filters, pipes, lines, and pumps
Follow hazardous material handling and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
Keep work areas clean and organized
Arrive on time and adapt to changing priorities
Manage time efficiently and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Other duties as assigned
