About The Position

The General Laborer plays a crucial role in assisting the Foreman to complete various construction jobs efficiently and safely. Requirements

• Basic knowledge of construction or related trades preferred.
• Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
• Ability to remain flexible as specific job tasks may change.
• Ability to work with a variety of personalities.
• Basic understanding and skill in operating hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver's license (and/or CDL) with a safe driving record.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good time management skills.
• Ambitious and results-oriented team player.
• High school diploma or GED required; prior construction job experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and organizing the work truck before leaving the company.
• Assist with unloading the work truck once on the jobsite.
• Prepare the jobsite for work.
• Assist crew with demolition and carrying products/tools/equipment.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Perform high-quality installations to ensure timely job completion.
• Follow directions from the Foreman and Co-Foreman.
• Take care of the company's products, tools, and equipment.
• Clean the jobsite at the end of the day, ensuring proper disposal of trash and storage of materials or equipment.
• Provide a remarkable experience for homeowners and crew.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
