Requirements

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations.
• PIT Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Check package quality (dirt, labels are applied, etc.)
• Operate MR-60 robot
• Troubleshoot MR-60 including replacing suction cups, adjust taper/rollers, clean filters.
• Operate Lantech wrap machine including changing rolls of film.
• Complete necessary documentation.
• Make sure material is kept separated, neat and stored properly and labeled.
• Follow all HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines.
• Perform lock out/tag out.
• Watch, correct and report safety issues.
• Communicate issues to production management and maintenance.
• Follow all of the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements and safety procedures.
• Follow all of the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) procedures, 'washing hands, etc.' throughout the day.
• Follow all of the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
• Keep all records updated.
• Follow all of the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) regulations and guidelines.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits

• Pay range for this position is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.
