About The Position

Prepares building for shipping which may include shrink wrapping buildings, removing fixtures, and cleaning dust and dirt off building panels and components.

Requirements

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Flexibility and ability to work under production pressure.
• Ability to work in cooperation with other team members.
• Experience working with basic hand tools and power tools.
• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, work on knees for extended periods of time, work on ladders at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in enclosed spaces for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• This position is located in Tea, SD.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings or customer specifications to determine position of unit component parts.
• Remove fixtures to help prepare building to be shipped.
• Clean dust and dirt off building panels and various components in building.
• Gather supplies and tools needed to complete jobs.
• Shrink wrap buildings to prepare for shipment.
• Complete work according to specified schedule and complete traveler documents in detail.
• Clean up work area and return tools and supplies to appropriate places each day.
• Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
