About The Position

Job Summary: The General Laborer will assist and train in cabinet assembly to learn about our products and processes. Work will include a variety of tasks completed under close supervision. These tasks may include assisting with extra workload, covering absences and vacations, and supplementing crews to meet unusual changes in the production area.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Closely follows directions, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on assembly lines
Assembles, packs, loads and unloads material and parts as needed.
Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
• Ability to work in a variety of roles.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to utilize the tact and diplomacy required to foster a team environment while keeping projects on schedule and budget.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
