About The Position

POSITION: GENERAL LABOR Primary Duty: Manufacture, assemble and package products to produce needed items in the pursuit of customers’ orders as directed by the team lead and/or supervisor. General Duties: Maintain a clean safe working area including sweeping, opening scrap, emptying dumpsters, trash cans, etc. Observe all safety precautions and plant regulations to prevent injury to self and others or damage to material or equipment. Upon training & qualification, perform miscellaneous duties as required including production fabrication and assembly, infill pad creation, crating, forklift operation, inventory counting, and assisting others.

Requirements

Prior manufacturing, assembly, material movement, or machine operator experience preferred.
Knowledge of manufacturing materials, fabrication processes and machinery preferred.
Ability to learn how to operate a forklift and other company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Follow all Company and OSHA Safety Policies.
Observe all safety precautions and plant regulations to prevent injury to self and others or damage to material or equipment.
Assemble materials and package finished products for transport to customers.
Operate machinery or stations as instructed by the Team Leader to meet scheduled demands.
Properly maintain equipment. Use basic hand tools such as cutters, trimmers, measuring tape, sanding tools, etc.
Ensure that the standards for quality, output, safety etc. are adhered to and improved upon.
Keep accurate records of production, waste, quality checks undertaken. Report inventory discrepancies.
Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards.
Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services that do not sacrifice the safety of others, oneself, nor the environment.

Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
Conform to all company policies and procedures.
