About The Position
Westaff is hiring General Laborers for Metalwork manufacturer in Winsted, CT! We are hiring hardworking, reliable production associates to support our foundry operations. This role begins with training on first shift and requires a firm commitment to second shift starting April 1. You’ll be supporting molding, floor production, and eventually furnace operations (training provided). This is a physically demanding, hands-on job in a fast-paced foundry environment. If you’re dependable, take direction well, and want to work with a close-knit team, this could be a great opportunity for you!
Requirements
- MUST speak Spanish (the entire team communicates in Spanish)
- MUST agree to work 2nd shift starting April 1
- Ability to follow directions closely and stay alert
- Comfortable working in a high-risk industrial environment
- Able to handle heavy, physical work and be on your feet all day
- Basic warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful
