About The Position

Temp To Full-Time training on Mondays & Wednesdays only- Noon on first day. Please stress ATTENDANCE. Inspect and identify unsafe production fixtures, chains, and hooks to ensure proper repair or discard unsafe items, Hand wire small to medium-sized parts to racks for pickling or galvanizing, Pull and place chains and ropes around steel bundles for racking, Move lightweight pieces of steel by hand from different locations in the plant and yard, Use files, power sanders, and/or wire brushes to remove icicles and other non-conformances from finished product Use a torch to repair bare spots using hot stick or zinc rich paint with the ASTM specifications, Stack, bundle, stretch wrap, and/or band items in accordance with the customer requirements to ensure safe load securement for transport, Assist in general plant clean up and housekeeping
