About The Position
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening. These positions work in a cold, damp or hot, humid environment, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. This position is for 1st shift, depending on the department will start as early as (5:00am or end as late as 4:40pm).
Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required.
- Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends on area).
- All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
- This facility will not accept applicants that have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times.
- This facility accepts rehires after 180 days.
- Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
- Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
