About The Position

Responsible for the safe maintenance of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company.

Responsibilities

• Monitors operation of plant equipment and systems.
• Report any equipment malfunction to the supervisor.
• Look out for any abnormal noise or vibration on the equipment.
• Communicates regularly with the supervisor to ensure good two-way communication concerning equipment or safety issues.
• Maintains the designated area clean of any material that has fallen on the floor.
• Sweep the floor around the equipment and shovel the material back onto the conveyors.
• When necessary, rolls tires onto the conveyor belt.
• Occasionally stack 50 Lb. bags onto pallet, up to 5 feet high.
