About The Position

This position starts at $18.75/hr. (plus a premium for 2nd shift positions). POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for working in an environment that produces ready to eat corndogs. Packing corndogs Inspecting product Placing packed boxes of product onto conveyor belts Monitor labeling, wrapping, and code dates on boxes. Perform repetitive hand movements. Perform other work duties as assigned by supervisor. Perform general housekeeping duties in the department. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable. May use SAP System if transferred /rotated. REQUIREMENTS: Must have ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.) Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. Must be able to reach high above shoulders and low levels, frequently. Ability to flex/grip with wrist/hands occasionally. Must be able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 10 pounds frequently and ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs. occasionally. Ability to climb step ladders and or stairs. Must be able to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day. Repetitive gripping, pinching, and counting. Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
