About The Position

A general labor job at Tyson involves a variety of tasks across different processing stages. These tasks typically include placing products into trays, vacuum packaging, and ensuring quality control. Workers may also be responsible for cutting, deboning, portioning, and packaging chickens. Additional duties can include maintaining cleanliness, monitoring equipment, and ensuring proper ingredient usage. This is an entry-level position, and responsibilities may vary based on the company's needs. These positions are in noisy, cold, damp areas with strong odors. All roles involve repetitive motions, including twisting, pulling, pushing, and other frequent movements. Candidates must be comfortable standing on their feet for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. We accept rehires if you have not worked for Tyson in the past 6 months (180 days), candidates who have worked for Tyson 3 times, will not be eligible.
