About The Position

A General Shop Helper will complete a variety of tasks depending on department including general clean up, racking, rigging, cleaning product using hand and power tools, metalizing and completing paperwork as needed. Must follow all processes, procedures and regulations and maintain the highest of standards including no damage to product and/or equipment. Must wear PPE at all times, arrive on time, work the required schedule each week and report any damage or issues to the department supervisor immediately.

Responsibilities

• Clean and finish product using hand tools and/or power tools according to specifications
• Rig/hang parts using wire to prep for galvanizing
• Train as a sweeper at the kettle
• Assist in UV in the paint department
• Complete paperwork
• Assist in general plant clean up and housekeeping
