About The Position

The General Labor position at Saputo Cheese USA Inc. involves the safe and efficient operation of production equipment in a food manufacturing environment. Requirements

• Minimum of two years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, with dairy food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in milk pasteurization, processing, and HTST preferred.
• Good math skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including software and data entry; SAP experience is a plus.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of production equipment, including packaging and conveying equipment, lift truck operation, and filling equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) in detail without deviation.
• Set up packaging coders and validate product codes according to specifications.
• Identify and communicate any out-of-specification product conditions and follow established notification protocols.
• Perform routine equipment adjustments using various hand tools.
• Accurately complete production records and documents.
• Other duties as required by management.
