About The Position

The Trimsaw Operator is responsible for setting up and operating bandsaws to dismantle wooden pallets in an outdoor environment. This role involves operating a mechanical Band Saw/Pallet Dismantler to cut and remove damaged lumber during the refurbishing process of wood pallets. The operator must adhere to safety requirements and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• Ability to operate mechanical equipment safely and effectively
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds repetitively
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in warehouse, lumber, carpentry, roofing, landscaping, logistics, or construction

Responsibilities

• Operate bandsaws to dismantle wooden pallets
• Perform basic adjustments to the machine, including changing saw blades and table adjustments
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of the band saw and surrounding area
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
