About The Position
Work Location and SchedulePosition requires ability to work overtime. As a result, it may require working varying start times, end times, and weekends dependent on business needs. Work Location: ItascaItasca, ILWant to make an impact?General Labor- Overnight Shift - 7pm to 7am Adheres to all FCC established GMP’sAssists anytime the line is in a scrap modeAssists in other facets of production as neededWorks at different workstations as production needs requireConducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to FCC safety methodsEnsures a quality product through regular visual checksResponsible for escalating machine issues to Lead OperatorInspects materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging processResponsible for proper packaging of all finished goodsResponsible for verifying and executing pallet patterns where applicableWays you will make a differenceQUALITY: Employee shall follow all required GMP, quality and food safety requirements. In addition, employee shall notify their supervisor or other designated personnel of all quality or food safety findings or incidents. SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL: Employee shall follow Ferrara-Itasca’s safety & environmental objectives & targets, follow the plant safety rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs.Skills that will make you successfulAbility to work with minimal supervision, and keep up with the line speeds in a fast paced environmentAbility to read and write EnglishMust be able to lift up to 60lbs with no assitanceAdheres to all company policies and proceduresAbility to work scheduled shift and overtime as needed, including weekendsDependable and flexible when work is required in other facets of production. Requirements
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, and keep up with the line speeds in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities
- Adheres to all FCC established GMP’s
- Assists anytime the line is in a scrap mode
- Assists in other facets of production as needed
- Works at different workstations as production needs require
