The General Labor Level II team members are tasked with building boxes, building and wrapping pallets, and transporting pallets of materials/ingredients/finished goods between the staging area and production lines. Team members are expected to follow all GMP and quality standards, while maintaining the flow of product through the production process. This position may include duties requiring additional training (mobile equipment certification).

• Must be able to push, pull, and lift 40 lbs.
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Must be able to obtain mobile certification.
• Reading and writing in English may be required.

Responsibilities

• Stage required packaging materials and assemble boxes at an adequate speed to keep up with production.
• Grab packed boxes from conveyor belts and pass through the tape machine, stage empty pallets for palletizing master cases, palletize completed boxes onto wood pallets in specific configurations.
• Troubleshoot and adjust tape machine / code date as needed.
• Complete mobile-equipment start-up check as required per job assignment.
• Transfer pallets of ingredients, materials, trash, etc. between production floor and staging area, as required.
• Transport scanned pallets to BLAST freezer or to RTE Staging Area as required, verify LPN case count matches physical case count per pallet before transfer to Warehouse.
• At start of shift, determine work assignment, report to assigned workstation, confirm scheduled production and prepare for operations.
• Label master cases and confirm all labels are facing outward and scanned into LPN.
• At end of shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties and complete all required paperwork (e.g. packaging traceability form).
