About The Position
This is a temp to hire position located in Phoenix, AZ, specifically at the intersection of 35th & Buckeye. The job schedule is set for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6 am to 12 pm, with a pay rate of $16 per hour. The role involves general labor duties, including sweeping, shoveling, and cleaning various areas and equipment throughout the yard. Responsibilities also include preparing autos for processing, fluid removal, and maintaining safety standards. The position requires operating a conveyor machine, sorting metals and other items, and performing daily inspections on equipment. Employees are expected to be willing to cross-train in other positions and assist colleagues as needed. The job demands physical stamina, as it requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, while also being comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Overtime may be required, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment is essential.
