About The Position

A General Laborer in a warehouse is responsible for a variety of tasks that support the daily operations of the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting with various tasks to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) is a plus.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures (if applicable to the warehouse environment).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with basic warehouse management systems.
• Forklift certification (if applicable to the role).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
• Organize, sort, and store materials and products in the warehouse.
• Operate manual and electric pallet jacks to move items.
• Assist with inventory management by conducting stock counts and labeling items.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and cleaning up debris.
• Pack and prepare products for shipment or storage.
• Assist with assembly, packaging, and labeling of goods.
• Follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Report any damage or discrepancies in inventory to supervisors.
• Assist other warehouse staff as needed and perform any other duties assigned by management.
