About The Position

Immediate opening for Kitchen Exhaust/Hood Cleaning Technicians for commercial hood and duct cleaning business. We provide hood, duct, and vent cleaning to our customers. Experience is preferred but not required. We will train. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of hand and/or power tools.
• Must be dependable and reliable with the ability to show up on time.
• Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully.
• Able to climb ladders.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. or more.
• Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently.
• Able to work flexible hours.
• Able to work in various weather conditions (ie. hot, cold, rain, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and carry out assignments given with minimal supervision.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Have the desire to learn quickly and be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with a growing company.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC experience.
• Equipment repair and/or Mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning Kitchen Grease Exhaust Vent Systems, kitchen equipment, and other items as requested.
• Driving company vans and vehicles to and from job sites.
• Set up and operation of various pressure washing equipment and chemical applications.
• Manual removal of heavier buildup with various hand scrapers and mechanical equipment.
• Document cleanings and deficiencies with digital cameras.
• Communicate with customers and other staff, plus various other duties as requested and needed.
• Power washing of kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, duct work, and fans.
• Set up and take down all job sites and equipment, including wiping down stainless-steel hoods, setting up wet/dry vacuums, high pressure hoses, pre-sprayers, ladders, hanging plastic sheeting, etc.
• Independent completion of work projects without supervision.
• Maintain equipment, reporting any mechanical deficiencies.
