About The Position

Total Security Solutions is looking for a qualified individual to join the manufacturing team in our Glass Shop. This is a full-time position at our TSS Sacramento location. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and preparing various elements of custom bullet-resistant barrier components.

Requirements

• CNC machining/programming experience, MasterCAM Software experience preferred
• Basic math skills and ability to read measurements
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and able to focus on multiple tasks at one time
• Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain glass fabrication equipment including glass cutters, drills, grinders, belt sanders, polishers, a beam saw, and CNC machines.
• Accurately measure and cut materials using calipers, tape measures, and other precision instruments.
• Cut, edge, and shape glass panels according to specifications using manual and automated equipment.
• Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure proper assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Safely load, unload, and transport glass sheets and finished products using lifting equipment, suction cups, dollies, and racks.
• Prepare glass for installation by performing edgework (seaming, beveling, polishing), drilling holes, notching, and applying protective films as needed.
• Manage inventory control and maintain an organized workspace.
• Inspect completed work for defects, chips, or flaws, and make necessary adjustments or repairs to meet quality standards.
