General Labor / Equipment Operator
About The Position
Duties include but are not limited to the following: Perform general labor duties in an open-yard, multi-building ag facility Operate forklift and skid steer Load fertilizer spreaders and handle agricultural chemicals safely Dump grain trucks at the receiving pit Load outgoing grain trucks Maintain clean and safe work areas Perform deliveries when applicable, depending on CDL status Provide very good customer service when interacting with customers and drivers Minimum Requirements Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical labor Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to work significant overtime and weekends during peak agricultural seasons Equipment operation experience preferred CDL is a plus, but not required Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and excellent customer service skillsd Skills and abilities Strong mechanical and technical skills preferred Knowledge of agricultural crop protection and equipment Communication skills Problem Solving skill Able to adapt quickly in many different situations (customer requests, weather, etc. Physical Demands Physically able to perform all requirements including but not limited to: Ability to walk stairs and climb up/down and in and around equipment and facility Standing and walking for several hours for an extended period of time. Could be extended periods of sitting if driving.
