About The Position

The General Laborer is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and production operations within a refrigerated environment. This role includes handling, moving, and preparing products while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work in cold temperatures, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or with a team.
• Previous warehouse or cold storage experience is a plus but not required.
• Must follow attendance policies and arrive before the start of each shift.
• Must comply with food safety and quality standards as required by MRS.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
• Inspect, sort, and prepare products according to company guidelines.
• Operate pallet jacks or other basic warehouse equipment (training provided, if needed).
• Label, package, and stack products onto pallets safely and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and protocols, especially in cold storage environments.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping goals.
• Assist in inventory counts or other warehouse tasks as assigned.
