About The Position

The General Labor position at International Paper's Beaverton Bag Plant is an entry-level role focused on the production of paper bags. Requirements

• Ability to work mandatory overtime as required and occasional Saturdays
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and safety steel toed shoes

Responsibilities

• Follow production order to stack 10-50 pound bundles on pallets
• Utilize vacuum lift to move heavier bales from the discharge conveyor to pallets
• Wrap bundles using paper gum tape
• Occasional use of manual pallet jack
• Sorting and lifting pallets
• Baling 3-5 machine lines per shift
• General housekeeping duties
• Other duties as assigned
