About The Position

The General Labor position is a full-time role within the Operations department, reporting to the Operations Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to safely handle, move, locate, relocate, stack, package, repackage, and count products. The working hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. The role requires flexibility, reliability, a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and initiative in performing various tasks to support business goals.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Experience and knowledge about Food Safety or willingness to receive training.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar role within a production or warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in food handling.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, move, locate, relocate, stack, package, repackage, and count product.
• Meet established productivity standards specific to the production job being worked on.
• Understand the custom packaging process of the operations building assigned.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.
• Participate in daily pre-shift meetings including stretching.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all tasks.
• Report all equipment malfunctions and unsafe acts to management or line lead immediately.
