About The Position

The General Labor position at Tyson Foods, Inc. involves performing various tasks in a production environment, primarily on the first shift. Requirements

• Must have a 180-day waiting period if previously employed at Tyson.
• Can apply if worked at Tyson no more than three times.
• Must wait 6 months to reapply after a failed drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow safety rules.
• Push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds as required.
• Work in damp, cold, or hot environments.
• Reach above shoulder level as needed.
• Stand for 8-10 hours a day.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including ear protection, hair net, and beard guard.
• Maneuver around freely in the work area.
• Demonstrate good hand/eye coordination.
• Climb up and down steps/stairs to access work areas.
